Kinder Stars is a class designed for 4+ preschool-aged gymnasts within BK’s Gymnastics’ Little Stars Education Program. This program marks the transition into an independent learning class, with a strong focus on school readiness through both physical and mental development.
In Kinder Stars, gymnasts will learn more advanced movements such as handstands and cartwheels. Beyond physical skills, the class aims to further develop children’s listening and social skills, and build confidence.
As part of the Little Stars Education Program, Kinder Stars concentrates on the development of fundamental body movement and awareness, progressing through a wide range of basic to intermediate gymnastics skills. It also incorporates essential learning aspects like coordination, balance, spatial awareness, directional movement, gross and fine motor skills, and personal discovery. Each fortnightly program is based around a specific theme, and participants can even dress up or bring an item related to the theme. The class structure is specifically designed to cater to the physical and emotional developmental stages of its students.
Our school holiday programs are a fun and flexible way to keep kids active during the break. Programs are available in half-day formats and cater to ages 5+. Early bird discounts are often available, and sessions are fully supervised by qualified coaches.
